Profile: Fainplast started production in Assisi, Italy, in 1993 but rapid and sustained growth through the 90’s led to the company’s move in 1996 to a new factory in Ascoli Piceno. Within three years of this move, capacity had doubled. Expansion has seen the company introduce several new product lines, most recently the 2011 addition of an EVA compound range.


Product line: Fainplast operates 18 production lines – 11 are dedicated to PVC compounds and the other 7 for polyolefins. PVC compounds are manufactured for power, automotive and optical fibre cables, medical and pipe and profile applications. The company’s polyolefin range includes flame retardant, halogen free, and crosslinkable compounds.


Product strengths: With an ongoing commitment to research and development, Fainplast claims to be able to offer customers an innovative and flexible approach. Its investment in new equipment also guarantees high product quality.
