But that meant losing more than half our production capacity on the same square meterage. Our investors were not all that keen, so we explored whether a two-layer system was also feasible. And that is the system that is now running. In fact, it’s such a success that from now on, and on this farm too, all future new build projects will be two layers.”


This farm visit justifiable attracted a lot of interest. It was perfectly organised, offering Bavarian specialities in plenty. Nobody went home with an empty stomach in any case!



