} In her powerful soliloquy, Juliet reveals her fears of carrying out the Friar’s plan. } Juliet also questions the integrity of Friar Laurence but dismisses this concern, trusting in his holy nature.
} Juliet’s soliloquy makes use of dark imagery as she imagines the terror of being in a tomb alone.
} Juliet is clearly in a desperate situation. In some productions of the play the actor plays her as bordering on hysteria as she imagines Tybalt’s ghost before her.
} Despite her fear and sense of being alone, Juliet’s commitment to Romeo inspires her to bravely drink the potion.
