Kitchen Specialist Improves Flooring Knowledge with the Academy
Trade-only kitchen specialist Benchmarx has committed to ensuring its staff are ready to answer customer queries on flooring by booking eight Academy external training days for 2017.
This continued commitment to a greater understanding of Quick-Step flooring comes on the back of some 140-staff attending the external training programme throughout 2016.
Graham Carse, of Benchmarx, said: “Thanks to the Academy, our staff are now confident in dealing with the customer questions we receive on the installation of Quick-Step flooring, such as which underlay to use or what expansion gap is required.
“The training has also helped staff
to deal with specific technical queries relating to the hugely popular Impressive and Livyn ranges. The striking wood and stone decors speak for themselves, but the water- and scratch- resistant qualities, along with ease of maintenance attributes make these two collections the ideal kitchen floor.
An All-Star Line-Up For January Furniture Show
The popular UK furniture and furnishings event, The January Furniture Show, is set to be a star-studded event, with appearances from a film star and a Manchester United player.
Legendary football and movie hard man, Vinnie Jones, is proving he has a softer side with the launch of the Deacon Jones range by Crown Floors.
Partnering with long-time friend and flooring expert to the rich and famous, Danny Deacon, to create the Deacon Jones brand, the pair have hand-picked eight exclusive Crown Floors carpet styles. The range shows Vinnie's notorious toughness in four X-Tron extra-strong polypropylene carpets, but also reveals his softer side too, with four super-soft polypropylene and polyamide styles.
Vinnie and Danny will be launching the collection at the four day show which runs from Sunday 22 to Wednesday 25 January across halls 1 to 5 at the NEC, Birmingham. They will be on the Crown Floors stand on Monday 23rd January 2017.

Mattress producer and distributor, Mlily, is marking its global partnership with top football club, Manchester United with an appearance from a player at the January Furniture Show.
Mlily has recently signed an exclusive five year deal with Manchester United to work with staff at the football company's Aon training complex to help the sleep and recovery of its players.
