We don’t advertise in magazines or online. We do use billboards (for shops) and social media promotions, though.
2. What social media do you use and how important is it for your business?
You can find us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Houzz, Tumblr, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Our social media presence is crucial to building relationships with customers and business partners, as well as making sure we get the exposure we need.
3. What is the cornerstone to Original Style’s success?
A wide range of products; a team of skilled, dedicated employees; an appetite for growth; and great relationships with clients, business partners, the media, and the industry.
4. What styles are popular at the moment?
Wood-effect porcelain planks and concrete-style large format tiles are incredibly popular at the moment.
5. What are your predictions for next season?
Creative tiling patterns: Instead of the traditional patterns, the herringbone style is set to be a popular layout in the coming year, alongside chevron, especially in faux-wood (check out the Chevron Parquet by Original Style).
Hexagons: They are going to be seen everywhere this coming season and they suit all styles of interiors. Traditional terracottas are also making a spectacular comeback and are available in the hexagon format too.
Jewel-like tones: 2017 will be all about rich, deep, vibrant greens and sultry blues, with names like Kale, Greenery, Lapis Blue and Niagara. They look stunning when paired with wood-effect tiles for the floor, which bring out that chalet chic – or hygge – style of the space.
Large format tiles: These are becoming increasingly popular. They are great for making a room appear bigger and, if you choose light-toned tiles, then they will also lighten up a room that lacks in natural light. Natural stone replicas – such as marble-effects – are both classy and timeless.
