ICE offer up training and education as a key part of its service offering. Here, we learn more about its Prime team, and why it places such importance on training customers.
Training and education is the very heart of ICE’s business model. We believe it is absolutely essential to provide the very best levels of training and support for our customers, therefore we have a specialised team who deliver every aspect of our equipment training.
Our dedicated Prime Team are solely responsible for and focused on training operators on how to use our equipment. They deliver unsurpassed onsite training, and basic fault finding on all makes and models of our extensive range. We do not use sales people or engineers as we recognise the importance of performing the task correctly.
The Prime team are put through an intense training programme, resulting in them being highly skilled, and meaning that the operator receives the best possible schooling, handling and efficiency from the equipment.
Ranging from small vacuum cleaners to large industrial road sweepers, from ICE mops to niche steam cleaners, the Prime team are capable of training on any equipment. Prime are also able to recommend the best auxiliary kit and consumable items for any scenario.
Once each operator has been trained by Prime, certificates are issued by ICE, ensuring all trained individuals have record of the session and on each item demonstrated.
We appreciate that if training is rushed, delivery will be poor, so the Prime team ensures training is taken at a pace that suits all audiences. The team presents in a positive, professional manner, ensuring that all trained teams/individuals come away self-assured and well educated.
We can offer training 24 hours a day (Monday-Friday), as well as Saturday work. Prime always have the customer in mind, so work around the customer requirements.

‘hands-on approach’ by leading the demonstration, and encouraging the operator to use the apparatus, for maximum effect.
Having a team purely focused on training means that our customers benefit from a standardised and consistent approach, and we can guarantee that all operators will be given the knowledge and skills to operate our equipment safely and effectively. Operatives are shown step- by-step, safe operational procedures of the machine, including daily and
weekly maintenance tasks, to ensure that the equipment operates to its maximum potential.
We also provide our customers with meaningful educational collateral such as multilingual check lists and online videos, to ensure that everyone can understand and take full advantage of our training both now and in the future.
Our Prime Team also offers an ‘after care’ service, which provides top-up and refresher training on all our equipment.
Not only does this provide excellent service to our customers, and ensures that all operators know exactly how to use and maintain our equipment, it also reduces machine faults due to operator error. This in turn reduces the amount of engineer visits required – a huge benefit for our environment as it dramatically reduces our carbon footprint.

Prime is an important extension and value add proposition to the ICE model and together with our fields based resources and technology through our App we are helping, supporting and educating thousands of sites and clients improve their day to day cleaning processes.
In addition, our ICE Training App gives instant access to equipment training videos. We have designed the App to be extremely easy to use, and it includes a range of training videos which explain how to operate many of our machines in a safe and proper manner.
