BUSINESS IS BOOMING FOR THOMANN- HANRY FOLLOWING
EXPANSION Thomann-Hanry has this month doubled the size of its home in Park Royal by taking possession of a second warehouse at its head office depot.
As business has continued to boom the need for extra equipment, staff and subsequently space has grown significantly. This new expansion offers an immediate extra 8,000ft² of vehicle storage and office space which adjoins its current premises.
Managing Director Mark Styles, commented: “It’s an exciting time here at Thomann-Hanry. In the past 18 months we have seen an
unprecedented growth in the UK business, with a huge number of impressive and extensive projects being undertaken by the team throughout the year. To expand space and remain at the same location couldn’t be better.”
Established in 1946 as a stone restoration company, Thomann- Hanry has spent many years refining and perfecting its façade gommage masonry cleaning system – a highly effective, ultra-fast, eco-friendly and cost effective cleaning process that does not require the use of scaffold. Originating in France, where it has cleaned the entire Le Louvre, it has operated in the UK for over ten
and delivers multi-use cotton wipes across the UK and Ireland. Its activities also include selling a range of products, such as soap, gloves, protective creams and storage bins. The business had a turnover of £3.1m during the last full financial year and has approximately 1,500 customers.

The acquired company’s operations will remain unchanged following the sale, with all staff being retained by the new owner. Soresh Meeda, Managing Director at Lindström UK, said: “Joining forces with Enviro Wipes provides a great opportunity for us to start with a totally new service in the market. “Our unique façade gommage formula eliminates the need for scaffold, an exclusive offering when undertaking a building clean. Not only does this save time – in most cases we start work within two hours of arriving on site – but it means the building can function as normal with no security or customer issues while the work is taking place,” Mark added.
To meet the ever increasing work- loads Thomann-Hanry is also currently recruiting high quality stone masons, MEWP operators, crane drivers, C+E drivers, restorers, carpenters, painters & decorators and labourers. For further details visit

Explaining the reasons for Enviro Wipes agreeing the sale, Mr. Parker said: “Our company remains successful, but we’ve now reached a stage in its growth when we need to make significant changes, to ensure it has the best possible future.
“We have every confidence in the new owners and firmly believe they’ll provide our employees with security, opportunities to take on more responsibility, and chances to develop their careers for years to come. As they implement their plans to develop the business at an accelerated rate, we believe they’ll expand the workforce too.”
