Applications Open For BICSc Awards 2015
The BICSc Annual Awards were established to recognise outstanding excellence in accredited training and assessment, and organisers say that this year’s event promises to be the biggest and best yet.
The Annual Awards are being held at the Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club, Birmingham, on Thursday 17th September, with hundreds of cleaning and FM professionals expected to attend.
Last year’s event saw Marilyn Monroe handing out refreshments to guests, as part of a Hollywood themed show with authentic walk-around characters. This year there is a different swing planned to entertain guests.
At this year’s ceremony, the Institute will present a number of awards
based office to help further their customer reach.
Mike added: “We are working towards a strong future for KitchCleanse. As company expansion and growth is on the cards, we may soon require additional staff members and possibly a second location due to our national client proximity.

to companies and individuals who have shown distinction in their category. Last year, the Institute’s most prestigious award, The Sholom Gordon, went to John Garfinkel of ISSA for his outstanding contribution to the Institute and industry as a whole.
The BICSc Annual Awards Dinner is a diary-must for anyone connected with the cleaning and training industry, in addition to the awards and entertainment, it’s a great opportunity to network and meet like-minded individuals within the industry.
Applications for the BICSc Annual Awards are now open, and the Institute would like to hear from companies and individuals who have made a definitive contribution to both the Institute and the industry.
Applications are open for the following awards:
• The BICSc Award for Excellence in Training and Assessment within an Accredited Training Establishment (HMPS)
• The BICSc Award for Excellence in Training and Assessment within an Accredited Training Organisation (in-house)
• The BICSc Outstanding Student of the Year Award
• The BICSc Award for the Assessor of the year
• The BICSc Award for Client Commitment to Training
Institute Awards (these are chosen by the Institute and cannot be applied for):
• Associate Training Provider of the Year
• BICSc International Award for Outstanding Performance in Promotion of the Institute (chosen by the International Committee)
• The CIMS Award For Commitment To Excellence
• The Doreen Heyes Award for Accredited Training Provision within the NHS Trust
• The Ayres Regional Award for the Region that has Best Promoted the Institute of the Last 12 Months
• The Sholom Gordon Award, the Premier Award is for Outstanding Service to the Cleaning Industry
• The Eric Hill Medal Recognises Past Services to the Institute Particularly in the Field of Education
