Cannon Hygiene Launches Suite Of Online Self-

Service Tools Global hygiene services provider Cannon Hygiene has launched an online system where customers can get instant and bespoke product recommendations.

The self-survey tool quickly recommends a range of products

for businesses to provide a hygienic environment for staff and visitors and be compliant with national legislation based on the information they provide. Customers can build a tailored hygiene service from their front door, right through their organisation.

In addition the launch of the business’ online live chat service will allow customers to discuss new products and services with specialists from the Cannon Hygiene team. The changes are supported by a new online e-portal, which gives customers 24/7 access to their account history, allowing businesses to review invoices

eSack Gets Stronger

Polaris Plastics took to the road during April and May to launch its new eSack Range, which is revolutionising the dispensing of refuse sacks. Customer feedback continues to be incredibly positive; they have already called for an extension to the range in the form of a heavier duty refuse sack in black and clear.

Paul Wilkes, Business Development Director at Polaris Plastics said: “Every customer who has seen eSack has been extremely positive; they really grasped the benefits of the new concept, recognising the way it can help them ‘dispense with the mess’. The addition so quickly of the heavier duty option to the range of sacks available with the system is entirely by customer demand.”

Refuse sacks now available within the eSack range are CHSA accredited

and statements plus make payments online when most convenient.

Howard Sedgwick, Managing Director of Cannon Hygiene UK, said: “Site surveys aren’t always practical for customers who want to be able to quickly access information as and when they need it.

“We’ve invested in developing these services for both ends of the market – from owner managers where time is money, to procurement professionals managing hygiene across multiple premises. The one touch system allows our customers instant access to product recommendations, the ability to deal with queries efficiently and provides full visibility of account history.”

Cannon Hygiene works with many household names, servicing many of the UK’s largest airports and thousands of SMEs. The new launch comes as the business celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.

The CHSA accredited sacks are non- gusseted and leak proof meaning they are very hygienic. The large capacity rolls minimise the time refilling the dispenser. As well as being a very hygienic and efficient system, eSack has strong environmental credentials. The sacks are made from 100% recycled polythene and the packaging and portable dispensing systems from 100% recycled cardboard.

light, medium and heavy duty as well as pedal and swing bin liners.

Paul added: “Not only have we added the heavy duty to the range we are also looking at more additions which are again also due to customer demand.”

The eSack Range has been designed with both the environment and efficiency at the forefront. With a wall mounted fixed dispenser and a portable integrated dispenser in the range, eSack is making the messy flat packed systems that have dominated the market for the past 30 years a thing of the past.

The new eSack range is fully supported by Polaris Plastics’ unequivocal commitment to first class customer service. Its stated objective is “to consistently exceed the expectations our customers have of us”. The company also has a long- standing commitment to supplying standard and bespoke refuse sacks in the janitorial market. It is a founder member of the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers’ Association’s Manufacturing Standards Accreditation Scheme for Plastic Refuse Sacks, and as such its products are independently tested to CHSA standards and regularly audited.
