It’s crazy to think that it’s been almost two years since we were making our way down to London for the last Cleaning Show. A lot has happened since then – Trump, Brexit, Leicester City, a cleaning show in Manchester – but it barely feels like two minutes since we were walking the floor at the Excel.
As preparations for the UK’s premier cleaning event continue to build up (it’s all getting very exciting at TCHQ now), we’ve got all the latest news and developments ahead of the show in our special Show Preview. In this preview, you’ll find plenty of information to help you plan your trip, including a full, up-to- date exhibitor list, detailed seminar programme, and a handy floorplan, meaning you can decide nice and early who you want to see, and where to find them (we’re on stand D23, if you’re asking).
Elsewhere in this issue, we’ve got the usual array of top quality features from some of the finest names across the industry. Kärcher tell us more about their impressive Cultural Cleaning programme, which has seen them clean famous landmarks all over the world, including Christ the Redeemer, Mount Rushmore, and the Brandenburg Gate, while Nilfisk throw their two pence in on the arguments surrounding mops and their floor cleaning capabilities.

4 | Tomorrow’s Cleaning
In our Disposables section, SCA discuss the sustainable benefits that come with using proper disposables over the classic ‘ragbags’ in the industrial sector, while Chicopee believe their range of microfibre wipes can bring cleaning into the 21st century.
Finally, in our Pest Control section, Rentokil tell us how hospitals can improve their pest control programmes, while the British Pest Control Association offer some advice on what to look out for when appointing a pest control contractor.
Don’t forget, voting is still open of the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards. If you’ve not had your say yet, then check out our Awards Guide here and cast your all- important vote.
I hope you enjoy the issue – thanks very much and happy reading! EDITOR’S VOICE
