CLEANING SHOW PREVIEW

GUESS WHO’S BACK

It’s been two years, but now the wait is almost over as the Cleaning Show will soon roll into town at the Excel. Here we look forward to what we hope will be yet another memorable event for the UK cleaning world.

It’s hard to believe that it has been nearly two years since the Cleaning Show made its triumphant return to London back in 2015. A lot has happened since then, things that we never thought possible – Donald Trump, Leicester winning the Premier League, a cleaning show in Manchester – but it still only feels like yesterday that we were making our way down to London for the UK’s premier cleaning event.

This time around, the show looks set to be bigger and better than ever, with more exhibition space being sold and a prediction of high visitor numbers across the three-day event. Alongside this, co-organisers the British Cleaning Council (BCC) are already talking up the calibre of speakers across its jam-packed seminar programme, with Chairman Simon Hollingbery believing there to be something for everyone. “We’ve organised a very comprehensive array of guest speakers and seminars which will examine important aspects of the industry,” he said.

Taking place from 14-16th March at the Excel, the Cleaning Show will

once again feature all of the newest innovative products impacting the cleaning world from some of the biggest names in the industry, including Kärcher, Kimberly-Clark Professional, SCA, Nilfisk, ICE and many more, and it represents a great opportunity for visitors to see these latest innovations up close and personal.

Alongside the wide range of exhibitors, visitors can check out the extensive seminar programme, which will feature talks on subjects as varied as the living wage, Brexit, the environment and marketing strategies. Attendees can also be in with a chance of breaking a Guinness World Record and winning a cash prize of £250 at the Window Cleaning Challenge (cue game show crowd noises).

A popular event in 2015, the Window Cleaning Challenge has seen competitors from across Europe take part in a bid to knock Terry ‘Turbo’ Burrows off his perch. And while nobody was able to beat his impressive record time last time out, there are bound to be a whole host of new challengers eager to claim the record.

And the fastest cleaner of each day will bag themselves a cash prize of £250. It’s sure to be one of the highlights of the event, and well worth checking out, if not even having a go yourself!

Throughout this Show Preview, you’ll find all sorts of information from some of the big names exhibiting at the event, including where to find them and what they’ve got planned. There’s also a full exhibitor list and a detailed seminar programme, so you can get planning who and what you want to see during your time at the show.

Tomorrow’s Cleaning will be there on Stand D23, so be sure to pop by and say hello!

We look forward to seeing you there!
