PAL INTERNATIONAL JOINS SOFHT AS SUPPORTING
COMPANY MEMBER The Society of Food Hygiene & Technology (SOFHT) has continued to expand its high-profile food industry membership with the appointment of Pal International Ltd as a Supporting Company Member.

CHSA CONTINUES TO FOCUS ON STANDARDS WITH NEW ACCREDITATION SCHEME FOR
DISTRIBUTORS The Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) is adding to its three Manufacturing Standards Accreditation Schemes with the launch of a new Accreditation Scheme for Distributors.
The Scheme went live on 1 January 2017, with all distributor members of the CHSA being invited to apply to join.

As with the Manufacturing Standards Accreditation Scheme, applicants will be admitted to the Scheme on the successful completion of an auditing process conducted by the CHSA’s Independent Inspector, Martin Yates. Once they have successfully passed

The membership maximises the services provided to members, such as seminars and training events as well as helping to enhance SOFHT’s position as ‘the voice of food hygiene’. The role the Society does, and can play, in helping the development in food safety management across the industry has been acknowledged by these supporting companies.

To join, distributors must also sign a declaration that they will only stock and offer for sale CHSA Accredited products or products that conform to the same Standards as required by the relevant CHSA Manufacturing Standards Accreditation Scheme.
