I’ve lived in Athy, Co Kildare for nine months. It’s quiet and the neighbours are very friendly.


I love hiking and go as often as I can to the Wicklow mountains. I climbed the Wicklow Way with work for charity a few months back and did the Camino de Santiago last year. I’m going back this year to try and finish it.


I love Bruce Springsteen and every time he comes here I get tickets.


I like to go to Hartes Bar and Grill in Kildare town, they have fantastic food and wine, and the service is above and beyond.


I love Irish stews, black and white pudding and I’m very fond of the roast dinner although it took me a few years to understand why there were three different potato dishes on the table. I love it now!


What do I like about living in Ireland? The people… the people and... the people.
