Measurement and Testing ‘Next Generation’ Digital Oxygen Analyser for Industrial Applications Launched


Servomex has launched the SERVOPRO MonoExact DF150E: a next generation digital trace oxygen analyser designed for accurate, stable and reliable performance across a wide range of industrial applications. Combining Servomex’s Coulometric trace-level measurement into Servomex’s advanced next-generation industrial analyser platform, the MonoExact DF150E’s fl exible and simple operation makes it ideal for use in applications as diverse as glove boxes, heat treating, solder refl ow ovens, laboratory and industrial gas production.


Operation is simple, with the MonoExact DF150E’s touchscreen graphical interface giving users immediate and intuitive control of all control and reporting parameters. The MonoExact DF150E’s measurement performance is optimised through Servomex’s tried and tested Coulometric sensor – delivering the same accurate oxygen measurement as its predecessor in a even more user-friendly platform.


The MonoExact DF150E is also fully backward-compatible with its forerunner, the DF-150E, offering full connectivity with existing hardware wiring inputs and gas inlets, ensuring full compliance with existing standards and customer agreements. Integration into existing systems is equally simple, with optional built-in 4-20mA output and alarm outputs supported by added Relay I/O.

New Solution for the Control of Performance and C1C6+ Monitoring


Gas turbine engines derive their power from burning fuel in a combustion chamber and using the fast fl owing combustion gases to drive a turbine in much the same way as the high pressure steam drives a steam turbine. To minimise the size and weight of the turbine for a given output power, the output per pound of airfl ow should be maximised. This is obtained by maximising the air fl ow through the turbine which in turn depends on maximising the pressure ratio between the air inlet and exhaust outlet.


Thermal effi ciency is important because it directly affects the fuel consumption and operating


costs. So the Process unit system effi ciency evaluation is a crucial point. ChromEnergy was used for electrical gas power plant application to monitor gas quality and check performances ration before and after the process.


ChromEnergy from the Chromatotec product line is part of solution provided for Oil & Gas market. Where energyMEDOR is more focused on Sulphurs monitoring and odourisation, application, the chromEnergy gas analyser designed for the measurement of hydrocarbons.


Using a Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD), this automatic gas chromatograph analyser is the perfect tool to detect and quantify hydrocarbons from C1 to C6+. This equipment works with isothermal mode. Coupled with the last version of Chromatotec’s software (Vistachrom), the instrument is able to provide calorifi c value and WOBBE index to the end user on automatic mode.


With its high sensitivity and robustness, the analyser is a perfect instrument for natural gas characterisation. The chromatograms mentioned hereafter illustrates its capabilities to quantify the hydrocarbons as iso- or linear propane, butane, pentane (iso and linear) or hexane. When In term of functions, end user has defi ned some individual alarms per type of molecule. Thanks to software capabilities, C1C6+ group has been created as additive parameter to check global profi le and be warned when signifi cant changes of concentration are observed. Thanks to the embedded PC and Modbus data transfer protocol, user check results from dedicated Supervision center offering results at a glance. The 4-20 mA output option allows to adjust the process by direct integration of the signal on the process.
