Analytical Instrumentation Total Chemical Resistant Fume Hood

UniFlow AireStream Fume Hoods, from Hemco Corporation, are constructed entirely of chemical resistant, fl ame retardant, non-metallic composite resin materials and features an exclusive “Unitized” construction that does not require screws, bolts, rivets, or metallic hardware for assembly. The fume chamber is molded one piece seamless with all corners coved for easy cleaning and light refl ectivity. This series of fume hoods is UL 1805 certifi ed and is offered in 48”, 60”, 72” and 96” widths in either constant air volume or restricted bypass models.

The AireStream Fume Hood is a high performance fume hood that maximises user protection and energy savings. This hood is equipped with a 36” high extended view height, exclusive vector slotted rear VaraFlow baffl e system, aerodynamic sash lift with perforated air-sweep feature, and molded-in belled outlet collar for reduced airfl ow resistance. The lighting is a vapour proof LED strip fi xture with a central switch, pre-wired to a single point junction box 115V /60Hz. Hood is shipped completely assembled and can include a wide selection of accessories that can be factory installed to meet your specifi c need. Work surfaces in a variety of materials and a choice of base cabinets including acid or fl ammable storage are optional as required.

Dedicated service leads to constant

performance 327-CAL 32-TEST

A well-known and very important quality analysis for Jet Fuel is the Jet Fuel Thermal Oxidation Test, this quality control is performed by the so called JFTOT. Standard working method ASTM D3241 is internationally recognized. When performing a JFTOT analysis according this standard method ensures accurate results. But what are the deviations if the results would be compared to those of another analyser?

ISO17025, temperature calibration and on-site

verification of petroleum analyzers. •

Expertise in maintenance and repair

of laboratory analyzers. •

We certify Flash point, Distillation, Cloud point, Pour point, CFPP, MCRT, Freezing point & .... analyzers.

European Lab Services (ELS) provides a trustworthy verifi cation of petroleum analysers such as the JFTOT and makes sure each step of the ASTM D3241 is checked thoroughly on a regular basis. The verifi cation program for JFTOT describes calibration of the temperature sensor, verifi cation of the pump speed, verifi cation of the pressure, volume verifi cation, programming of the offsets and eventually run a reference product as fi nal check.

Because of the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for this matter, ELS assures you that the instrument performs within the limits of the working method and offers international traceability.

The Intelligent Heater Tube (IHT) improves the traceability of JFTOT analysis. The heater tube is used to determine the so-called JFTOT deposit rating; a visual or elipsometric tube rater measures the deposits on the tube after the JFTOT analysis. Using the new IHT’s with RFID chip makes sure all information of the analysis is stored on the tube; complete data recording of what happened during the analysis is automatically available. Additionally, all transcription errors are eliminated and accidental re-use of the same tube won’t be possible.

For more information about the importance of traceability in petroleum testing, ‘A World First – Verifi cation of Petroleum Analysers According to ISO-Standards’ will give you more insight into this matter.

Restek’s new Force performance LC columns give you the power to maximise instrument uptime, increase productivity, and transfer methods across your entire lab, from your trusted-but- aged HPLC to the cutting-edge UHPLC you just plumbed last week. This incredibly rugged and supremely consistent column line represents the culmination of Restek’s twenty-plus years in LC dedicated to continually improving phase chemistries, lot and lifetime testing, and bonding and packing procedures.

Long-lasting and reproducible, new Force columns maintain stable retention times and peak shapes, even under the stress of elevated UHPLC pressures and rapid cycling. Premium quality is ensured by strict manufacturing and QC procedures—and backed by the strength of the Restek 100% Pure Satisfaction guarantee. And perhaps most important, Force premium LC columns are fully scalable between 3 or 5 µm HPLC and 1.8 µm UHPLC. You can easily transfer between instrument platforms and optimise methods without extensive calculations.

Available in three particle sizes, Force columns feature Restek’s most-popular and highly selective Biphenyl and FluoroPhenyl phases, as well as a general-purpose C18. Meet today’s workfl ow needs—and prepare for tomorrow’s—by applying Force LC columns to all of your instrument platforms.
