68 More Distributor Support at Hi-Line Announced

Hi-line Industries Ltd claim to be the compressed air industries leading air treatment company, selling to the compressor service sector via their own well established distributor network.

As part of their continued growth strategy, Hi-line have invested in two regional Distribution Support Managers, who are based geographically in the North and South of the United Kingdom, and also backed-up by internal dedicated support staff.

The North will be in the capable hands of a veteran compressed air buff, Simon Bailey (pictured). Simon joins the Hi-line team from a German High Pressure Compressor manufacturer, and with over 20 years experience in compressed air, Simon is well placed to offer technical support to all Hi-line distributors.

Based in the centre of his region in Cheshire, Simon is on the doorstep of many Hi-line customers in the North of England. Currently in an extensive training programme with the Hi-line team, he will be supporting distributors by the start of the New Year with a focus on helping all of their resellers get added value from Hi-line and their products.

Simon is married to Carrie and they have a 4 year old son Oliver, and any free time available is spent cycling, circuit training or keeping fit. Hi-line has also appointed a high calibre Distribution Support Manager for the South of the nation and this will be announced in the shortly.

This new model of pilot-scale freeze dryer bridges the gap in the market that was hitherto addressed through the use of larger scale laboratory equipment

The latest compact version of twin-vessel pilot-scale freeze dryer specifically designed for applications in experimentation, research, and formulation to develop recipes in pharmaceutical freeze-drying processes – LyoBeta Mini- will be presented by Telstar on booth 462 at Arablab 2016.

The compact lab freeze dryer (W94cm x H76cm x D63cm) has been designed by Telstar in twin-vessel configuration, with an external condenser of capacity 6kg, separately located from the product chamber; an innovative feature which is unusual in this range of compact bench-top equipment. Additionally it is equipped with an automatic stoppering system that enables automatic sequences to be programmed and includes an electromagnetic aeration valve and piezo-pressure sensor for use in combination with the pneumatic stoppering device. The compact laboratory freeze-dryer LyoBeta Mini offers 0.18m2 of useful shelf surface area with temperature control from -55 to +70°C. A cascade refrigeration system using CFC- free refrigerants cools the shelves and will reduce the temperature of the condenser to -85°C.

During Arablab Telstar will also be demonstrating the Telstar Igloo, a compact and ecological -86ºC ultra- low-temperature freezer for secure preservation of samples specifically directed at clinical and research centres. Designed under the green line concept, Telstar Igloo ultra-low-freezer provides an innovative and energy efficient storage system, superior temperature performance and uniformity. It also offers the lowest power consumption and low noise level (< 50 dB(A)) in a small footprint, which enables a more optimised freezer layout and the flexibility to adapt to any space. The new compact ultra-low freeze dryer has been developed by Telstar utilising their in-house cold storage technology.
