Convergence Chromatography with the ACQUITY UPC2® Bring streamlined workflow, expanded selectivity, and an orthogonal technique to your laboratory.
System
Convergence chromatography (CC) is a broad-based, complementary analytical platform that is taking its place alongside of LC and GC as one of the three essential separation technologies for modern laboratory analysis. This technique provides another, reliable choice as an analytical platform that is orthogonal to reversed-phase LC (RPLC), while significantly streamlining the entire analytical workflow.
In convergence chromatography, the separation is achieved by manipulating the density and composition of a supercritical fluid-based mobile phase. Because of the very high diffusivity of the mobile phase, high separation efficiency can be achieved. Additionally, the diversity of stationary phase and mobile phase (co-solvent) options provides access to the largest selectivity space available to any separation technique.

ACQUITY UPLC® I-Class System The details always matter.
The ACQUITY UPLC I-Class System is designed specifically for the rapid pace of laboratories on the cutting edge of research, and provides the most powerful solution to the most critical need in separation science today – successfully analysing compounds that are limited in amount or availability amid a complex matrix – more rapidly than ever before. Developed to produce the most accurate and reproducible separations, you will get the most information possible and accelerate your laboratory results.
The high pressure (18,000k psi-capable) ACQUITY UPLC I-Class System has been purposefully engineered for the lowest dispersion, and with an extended pressure/flow envelope, complex separations can be accelerated without compromising chromatographic fidelity. It also provides the lowest carryover, complementing MS sensitivity and extending MS linear dynamic range.
Whether your work involves therapeutics or combinations of medicines and dosing levels, as in high potency medications or biotherapeutics, or your lab focuses on areas in trace analyses such as food safety, the ACQUITY UPLC I-Class System will enable you to solve your most complex challenges.

as the primary mobile phase. The system leverages the chromatographic principles
and selectivity of normal-phase chromatography while providing the ease-of-use of RPLC, enabling you to address routine and complex separations challenges while delivering sensitivity and throughput never before possible.
Detector, and seamlessly integrate mass spectral information into your same workflow.
ACQUITY UPLC H-Class System
Method development and method transfer made easy. With the ACQUITY UPLC H-Class System, your laboratory can achieve true UPLC separations without changing the way you work with your current quaternary-based LC system. The system is streamlined to bring together the flexibility and simplicity of quaternary solvent blending and a flow-through-needle injector to deliver the advanced performance expected of UPLC separations – high resolution, sensitivity and improved throughput – while maintaining the robustness and reliability that ACQUITY UPLC systems are known for.
Choosing the ACQUITY UPLC H-Class System enables you to continue running existing HPLC methods on a forward-looking LC platform, allowing you to confidently and seamlessly transition to UPLC separations - when you’re ready - using integrated system tools and reliable column kits for method transfer and method development that simplify migration. And, when paired with the ACQUITY QDa Detector, you can combine qualitative and quantitative data into the same workflow with complementary optical and mass detection.

ACQUITY®
Arc™ System
Do you perform routine HPLC analysis? Do you transfer methods between labs? Are you considering updating your existing HPLC systems, but want to invest in a technology that can support UHPLC methods in the future? Are you looking for tools to improve laboratory efficiency?
The ACQUITY® Arc™ System is designed as a bridge between HPLC and UPLC methods and can help you improve your results and workflow: • Easily reproduce methods from existing Waters or other vendors’ HPLC systems
• Arc Multi-flow path™ technology aids in the transfer of existing methods by allowing the system to reproduce the gradient delay volume of traditional HPLC systems, but also has the option for a low gradient delay path for developing methods on more efficient UHPLC columns
• Deploy UHPLC methods using 2.7 µm CORTECS® and XP chemistry to reduce cost per sample • Blend your mobile phase online with Auto•Blend Plus™ Technology to reduce errors both in preparation and in day-to-day and user-to-user variability
