Andrew Dewar Area 3 Director
Andrew Jacob Dewar lives in Orillia Ontario. He grew up in the Lindsay area. Horses exist in his life thanks to his mother. She always had horses and encouraged him to
show and be a member of the 4h and junior farmers, as well as supported his decision of becoming a horse trainer.
Andrew is certain that she would be proud of the trainer he has become. Being an AQHA
professional horseman, and owner/ operator of Dewar Performance Horses keeps Andrew busy. Dewar performance horses is run out of the beautiful facility of Maplehaven Farm. Andrew was the OQHA Trainer Challenge Champion 3 years in a row. His heritage is Scot-
tish and Irish. Many OQHA members know Andrew has a great love for blue heelers! Many have known Bud Dog, and now know Nella who accompanies him at the horse shows.
