Campbellville, Ontario - The Campbel- lville Community Association, in part- nership with Woodbine Entertainment Group, is thrilled to announce we will host the 2017 RCMP Musical Ride Cross Canada Tour on August 1st, 2017 at Mohawk Racetrack in conjunction with a card of live Standardbred racing, to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday! We are honoured that Campbel-


lville/Nassagaweya has been chosen to host the Cross Canada tour.


What is the 2017 RCMP Musical Ride? The RCMP Musical Ride is per-


formed by a troop of 32 riders and their horses. The performance consists| of in- tricate figures and drills choreographed to music. These movements demand the utmost control, timing and coordination. The Musical Ride provides the op- portunity to experience the heritage and

aganza will star Mustang Makeover Winner Bobby Kerr, the renowned horsemanship trainer and entertainer. Originally from Burlington, ON, Kerr has spent over 40 years training horses. Kerr is the 2016 Na- tional Finals Rodeo speciality act of the year. Alongside his well-trained mustangs and dogs, Kerr will host clinics over the course of this event focusing on, the first 30 days on the ground, training the usable- broke horse, starting a horse on a cow and starting a dog to cut.
