‘Spring Guide 1 & Whats UP!

TM Upbeat in Indigo, CA!

Can you imagine anything that would make attending a three- day concert featuring some of the best rock and roll musicians of our time while also offering some of the best food and wines California has to offer...better? Vicki and Paul Yarnal from For- estville, CA could...they brought UPBEAT TIMES along with them to the second weekend of the Desert Trip Concert held in Indigo, CA this past October, 2016. “We enjoyed reading the articles and telling each other jokes while relaxing at the food, wine, and drink experiences, the photo lounge, and intermis- sions between shows.

Thank you UPBEAT TIMES for

providing a positive, uplifting reading alternative for us to enjoy rather than the frequently negative and depressing news and stories offered from other venues...you’re awesome!” ~ Vicki and Paul Yarnal, Forestville, CA.

Yarnels: One night, in particu- lar, was incredible...we were waiting for Neil Young to take the stage, a full moon was rising on the horizon, and we were getting into the mood by read- ing UPBEAT TIMES. When Neil took the stage, his first song was “Harvest Moon.” In his own words:

Come a little bit closer Hear what I have to say Just like children sleepin’ We could dream this night away.

But there’s a full moon risin’ Let’s go dancin’ in the light We know where the music’s playin’ Let’s go out and feel the night.*

* Lyrics to the song “Harvest Moon” by Neil Young, recorded 1992
