Bennett Friedman Quartet Jazz Concert in April To Benefit The SRJC Foundation Jazz Studies Fund!
Santa Rosa, CA. ~ The Music Department of Santa Rosa Ju- nior College (SRJC) presents a jazz concert by the Bennett Friedman Quartet on Friday, April 14, at 8 p.m. in Newman Auditorium on their Santa Rosa campus. The concert will feature organist Brian Ho, guitarist Randy Vincent, and drummer Lorca Hart. General admission to the event is $10, and $5 for students and seniors. Parking permits are re- quired and available for $4 on campus lots. Pro- ceeds

teaching jazz guitar at Sonoma State University since 1981. He has performed with Bobby Hutcherson, Joe Henderson and Dizzy Gillespie.
Jazz Festival, the Monterey Bay Blues Festival, and the Russian River Jazz Festival. He has been featured as a so- loist with Frank Sinatra, Rose- mary Clooney, Natalie Cole, and Marvin Gaye. Friedman has taught Jazz Studies at SRJC since 1977.
He is the recipient of a Na-
tional Endowment for the Arts grant for jazz composition.
