Day 1 Budapest. From Budapest airport we take you to your hotel where you can settle in and enjoy free time in Hungary’s historic and vibrant capital.


Day 2 Budapest. Enjoy an included guided city tour, starting on the contemporary Pest side of the river. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage site and on your tour you’ll see the elegant boulevards and mansions, National Opera House, Parliament Building and visit Heroes’ Square. Cross the Danube to the Castle District of Buda and explore Matthias Church and Fishermen’s Bastion for magnificent views of the city. Enjoy a free afternoon or choose an optional excursion to the elegant Gödöllo

Day 3 Budapest. After breakfast in your hotel, we take you to your stunning ship. Enjoy a free day to further explore Budapest; visit a museum, do some shopping or take a rejuvenating dip in one of the city’s famous thermal spas. Return to your ship for a Welcome Dinner.


Day 4 Kalocsa. Enjoy an included guided tour of the Hungarian city of Kalocsa, celebrated as much for its folk art and paprika, as for its rich history. Enjoy a short organ concert at St. Joseph Church. You can also look forward to a dazzling performance by Hungary’s legendary Puszta horsemen.


Day 5 Osijek. From your ship in Vukovar, travel to Osijek, eastern Croatia’s largest city, in a region known as Slavonia. This scenic city was once populated by Romans, Ottomans and


Habsburgs, and is home to many beautiful Baroque buildings, parks and monuments that you can see on your included excursion.


Day 6 Belgrade. In Serbia’s beautiful capital of Belgrade, take an included guided tour through the grounds of Kalemegdan Fortress in the Old Town. See Sveti Sava, the world's largest Orthodox church, and stop at the Square of the Republic. Enjoy free time in this ancient city, or take an optional excursion to the town of Kovacˇica to visit a gallery of naive art characterised by its strong colours. Meet a violin


maker and discover how he makes his artful instruments. Sample some delicious local foods and learn about this ethnically diverse region.


Day 7 Danube River and Iron Gate. The Iron Gate is one of Europe’s most dramatic natural wonders; a spectacular narrow gorge with white limestone cliffs soaring above. Sailing this magnificent stretch of the river is one of the highlights of your journey.
