Day 7 Bordeaux. Relax on board your ship this morning as you take in the views along the river on your way back to beautiful Bordeaux. Once a prosperous Gallo-Roman city, Bordeaux was built around a harbour named Port de la Lune after its crescent shape. You have the afternoon free to further explore this fascinating city and enjoy shopping for gifts and souvenirs. Alternatively, take an optional full-day excursion to Arcachon, a town on the Atlantic coast with Victorian villas and a boardwalk where you can enjoy the local oysters. On an alternative optional tour, accompany your chef on a cook’s tour of the marketplace where you can sample fresh local delicacies and learn
about the ingredients that make a typical Bordelaise meal. Your ship is docked overnight in Bordeaux, giving you more time to explore.
Day 8 Bordeaux. After breakfast, we take you to Bordeaux airport for your return flight to the UK.
Port sequence, places visited, tours and times may vary or be different to those shown above.
