Day 1 Amsterdam. From Amsterdam airport we take you to your ship where you can settle in and enjoy free time to relax or head out and explore this charming city.


Day 2 Kinderdijk. Enjoy an included guided tour of the historic and picturesque Kinderdijk windmills, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, sample delicious Dutch specialities on board, including Dutch cheeses and jenever.


Day 3 Cologne. Take an included tour through the riverside city of Cologne visiting the Old Town, St. Martin’s Church and Cologne Cathedral. Spend a leisurely afternoon exploring this lovely city. In the evening you may like to explore Cologne’s illuminated alleys, where you will discover its traditional beer culture and jovial atmosphere.


Day 4 Koblenz and Middle Rhine. Your included tour of 700-year-old Marksburg Castle is the perfect start to the day. Sail the UNESCO-listed Middle Rhine and look out for the Lorelei Rock, named after the legendary Rhine maiden.


Day 5 Miltenberg. Enjoy a relaxing morning cruising along the Main River. Dock in Miltenberg for an included guided walking tour of this historic town. On board, watch a traditional German glassblowing demonstration.


Day 6 Würzburg. In Würzburg take an included guided tour of the 18th-century Bishops’ Residenz, an extraordinary, UNESCO-listed baroque palace. Enjoy a


free afternoon to explore this charming town. Or take an optional excursion along the “Romantic Road” to historic Rothenburg, one of Germany’s last remaining medieval walled towns.


Day 7 Bamberg. The delightful Main River takes you to the Bavarian town of Bamberg where you can look forward to an included guided walking tour of its medieval centre. Try a Rauchbier, the local smoked beer.


Day 8 Main-Danube Canal and Nuremberg. Sail the Main-Danube Canal, once a dream of the Emperor Charlemagne who envisioned connecting the North Sea to the Black Sea. In Nuremberg, see the ruins of Zeppelin Field, and the Palace of Justice, site of the Nuremberg trials. Or take an optional WWII history tour that explores the Documentation Centre Museum.


Day 9 Regensburg. In Regensburg see St. Peter’s Cathedral, the Old Town Hall and 12th-century Old Stone Bridge as part of your included tour. Enjoy free time to visit the 800-year-old Alte Würstkürche (Old Sausage Kitchen), Germany’s oldest restaurant.
