Looe Town dominated with a 4-1 win


Millbrook’s recent good form, in the ECPL Division One, came to a grinding halt at Looe, who were playing only their third league game since November 5.


The game started with a bizarre opening goal when in the first minute a Looe defender diverted a cross into his own net.


Ten minutes later and a similar thing happened at the other end when a Millbrook defender diverted a Jay Fisher strike in to his own net.


Penalty


Looe continued to hold sway and five minutes before half-time they took a 2-1 lead. Kieran Faulkner was fouled and Matt Barton stepped up to convert the resulting penalty.


Looe dominated the second half and it quickly became 3-1 through Barton after Cameron Patterson’s effort hit both uprights.


The versatile Barton sealed his good afternoon’s work when he set up Luke Cloke for Looe’s fourth goal.
