Thought of the week... Taking a funeral is never easy. I’m
always conscious of the raw emotion that can be present as well as the potential for saying - or not saying- the right thing. Having said that though, I count it a great privilege to given the chance to show a little bit of God’s love at a time of great need. And funerals provide us with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the gift of life and the ways in which the deceased has impacted the lives of others. I conducted Lloyd Coles’ funeral
service last week. Lloyd was considered something of a country legend in these parts and I counted him a friend and someone who proved to be a source

Dock, comprising the churches of St John, in Bush Street, St Teilo, in London Road and St Patrick in Treowen Street, Pennar, will celebrate the following acts of worship on Sunday January 22. The third in Epiphany: Holy

be such a success that the Vicar, the Rev Nicky Skipworth and her family are happy to announce that Mini Messy Church will be moving to a new bigger base at St Patrick’s Church. The next session, will be on
Monday February 13, between 4-5pm and will follow on every second Monday of the month in term time.
