Reservations Consultant Although previous experience in the travel industry is not essential, we will expect successful applicants to have a polite and confident telephone manner as well as an effective approach to building rapport and forging excellent client relationships. Previous experience in a telephone sales environment would be advantageous.
Some formal on-site training will be conducted on all products/services, and successful applicants will also be expected to complete a self-study programme that will enhance and develop knowledge of all the destinations that are featured. The ability to multi task and quickly interpret a large volume of complex information is essential whilst communicating confidently and effectively with clients over the phone and face to face.
Reservations Consultants need to have the ability to exactly match the most appropriate travel products with the client's individual and unique needs, no matter how complex the requirements are, and exceed their expectations at every opportunity. This position will involve overseas travel.
Salary circa £25,000
Agency Sales Manager A significant part of our business comes from Travel Agents in the UK and we are looking for someone who is able to, not only provide support for this very important sector of our Business, but also able to attract new agents to our growing portfolio of destinations.
The role will involve (but is not limited to): meeting agents at both branch office level and head office level, hosting agent evenings, creating and communicating effective incentive campaigns, hosting FAM trips.
The successful applicant will have had at least two years’ experience in the Travel Industry and will have a confident manner about him/her. Eloquent and well presented are fundamental pre-requisites as is a clean driving licence.

SLC Representation is looking for an experienced tourism marketing professional to manage activities for their client Tourism Western Australia
Managing a small team the successful applicant will be required to manage all facets of Tourism Western Australia’s UK marketing activities, including trade, consumer campaigns and PR.
The successful applicant will have:
• Experience in, and knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, preferably including marketing experience with tour operators and airlines
• Excellent communication skills including presentation skills • Well developed relationship building and negotiation skills • Experience in creation of annual marketing communications plans • Experience in managing advertising and promotional campaigns, social media and digital activity • Experience in managing and being accountable for budgets
Additionally, an understanding of Australian and/or Western Australian regional/tourism product and relevant professional marketing qualifications would be advantageous.
