To earn a place, agents need to book US packages and Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines flights with Gold Medal or Travel 2 by January 31, 2017. There are five places with Gold Medal
and five with Travel 2 to give away in each of four regions across the UK and Ireland: Scotland, Ireland, Isle of Man and northeast; north, northwest and Midlands; Wales, southwest, south and southeast; and London and East Anglia.
The places will be allocated as follows: l One place to the top seller of Virgin Atlantic/Delta Air Lines flights to the US.

Gold Medal and Travel 2 are renowned for some incredible fam trips and incentives, and now the sister operators have set their sights across the Atlantic. Building on the success of the operators’
first FAMtastic trip to the Caribbean in October, their next trip will be even bigger and better. The USA FAMtastic mega-fam will involve 40 winning agents flying to the US in March 2017 with partners Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines, before enjoying one of four itineraries that will take in a wealth of iconic sights in California, Massachusetts, New York, Tennessee and Georgia. To make the most of the trip and to
showcase this huge and varied destination, the agents will each take in two destinations, before meeting up in Orlando for a final Access All Areas training conference. Gordon McCreadie, sales and marketing
director for Gold Medal and Travel 2, said: “After the huge interest that we received in our first mega-fam to the Caribbean, we are building on that success by offering even more places on our USA mega-fam in 2017.

incentive came at a time of significant growth in US sales for both operators, with Gold Medal’s year-on-year bookings up 37% and Travel 2’s 18.4% ahead. The USA FAMtastic incentive will run in partnership with Travel Weekly until January 31, with the full itineraries unveiled on January 26. During the incentive period, Gold Medal and Travel 2 will run a series of advertising features offering advice, destination insight and selling tips, as well as a range of booking offers.
