CityJet to open base at Southend next April
CityJet plans to fly to up to 18 European destinations from a new base at Southend airport from next April. The carrier expects to carry 600,000 passengers from the Essex airport.

Norwegian starts service from Gatwick to Reykjavik
Norwegian started flying to Reykjavik from Gatwick this week. The carrier offers one-way fares to the Icelandic capital from £34.90, with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Qantas bolsters sales team with six new recruits
