addition, it has been a great year for our breeders with many accomplishments. Now 2017 is shaping up to be an exciting time within our organization and we are hoping to see many familiar and new faces at our upcoming events, beginning with our Annual General Meeting in March. Every year, the KWPN-NA breeders look forward to

presenting their foals, mares and young sport horses at a KWPN-NA keuring in their area. The KWPN-NA keurings offer inspections for both young and mature horses in the dres- sage, hunter, jumper, gelders and harness breeding direc- tions. It provides the breeders with invaluable advice and feedback on their breeding and training decisions from respected authorities. Beginning in early September, the jury travelled across the U.S. and Canada to 13 different sites for the 2016 KWPN-NA Keuring Tour. For the first time, the jury was comprised solely of judges from the Netherlands. The first half of the tour saw judges Bart Henstra and Arie Hamoen, while the second half of the tour saw judges Bart Henstra and Harrie Derks. Throughout the tour, KWPN-NA members can follow the
impressions of the jury at each location via “The Report from the Road” blog entries. These are a snapshot impression of what is being presented by their fellow breeders, allowing the horses that really stand out to the jury to be highlighted. For a full list of keuring results, visit our website
