COME TO LIMEHOUSE FOR LONDON’S 2017 ATHLETICS EXTRAVAGANZA

ritish Waterways Marinas Ltd (BWML) is looking forward to welcoming
visitors and boating groups to its Limehouse Marina, to experience the World ParaAthletics
Championships and IAAF World Championships that come to the London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park next summer. Visitor moorings are available
at the marina, which is strategically located just a few miles south of the Olympic Park,
and boasts brand new visitor facilities. Clubs and associations looking to hold a rally at the marina are especially welcome. From 14 July to 13 August, the
world’s top athletes return to the iconic stadium. London 2017 is also the first time that the IAAF World Championships and the World ParaAthletics
Championships will be held in the same summer, in the same city, with 245 events over 20 days of sporting drama, involving 3,300 athletes from around the globe. Commented BWML’s Phil Cotman, General Manager
for Limehouse Marina, ‘We have everything that new and experienced boaters could need to enjoy life on the water during London 2017’s summer of athletics.
