Summer Workshop—Florida Fair Trip
One of the strongest attributes of Summer Workshop is the chance for Federation members to get to know each other better.

Saturday, Nov 12 – Meet at the Jackson- ville Fair at 10 am – (510 Fairgrounds Place, Jacksonville, FL) short meet and greet – then tour the fair on our own. Group will meet informally for lunch at the Belle City Amusement’s office/ tent at 12:00 noon. Leave to drive to
Tallahassee – 1 pm (1 hour 40 minutes to Tallahassee) Arrive North Florida Fair approx. 4 pm (441 E. Paul Russell
Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32301) Meet at the Fair – short meet and greet – then tour fair on our own. Group will meet informally for dinner at the Strates Shows
office/tent at 7 pm Overnight – have 15 rooms on hold in Tallahassee (or folks could drive home) Homewood Suites: (850) 402-9400 –2987 Apalachee Park-
way, Tallahassee, 32301. Make your hotel reservation. Rooms are at a rate of $119. Due to the FSU game in town that weekend. BE SURE TO USE GROUP CODE FFF where it asks for special rate code (in the same section where you put your dates requested). You can drive a ways out of town if you prefer.
