TERRY OTIS BALLARD 10-1-1936—6-22-2016


Terry was a graduate of Plant City High, a retired Brigadier General, and retired banker. He was a family man and a friend to many and a current Florida Strawberry Festival Board member and a past president. He served on many boards in Plant City and was awarded the Plant City Jaycees Good Government Award, Rotary Club Harris Fellow, and past recipient of Plant City Family of the Year. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Daphne, two daughters, and three grandchildren.


HENRY MERRELL DANIELS 3-20-1926—7-7-2016


Henry was born in Tampa and moved to Sarasota in 1954. He was a Navy veter- an, he served on the Sarasota County Fair Board, Sarasota County Farm Bu- reau, was a Florida State University alum- nus and served on SWFWMD, and with the Florida Fruit and Vegetable Associa- tion. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Jose- phine in 2014. He is survived by his two daughters and five grandchildren.

John was a lifetime resident of Sara- sota . He was a part of the oldest con- tinually operating family business: The Albritton Fruit Company established in 1880. He was a member of the Sara- sota County Fair, the Cattlemen’s Asso-


ciation, the Model A Restorer’s Club and a past member of the Sarasota County Planning Committee. His is survived by his wife of 60 years Gwen, one son, one daughter and 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
