QF Focus Magazine Oh my Dog

With the change of the clocks comes the inevitable darker nights and mornings. The last thing that any dog owner wants is that their beloved friend for life is put in any danger.

Oh My Dog at La Marquesa

Golf,

Quesada does more than just pamper and groom your pet, it also has an extensive shop that sells everything from food supplies to high quality accessories, including LED collars to keep your pooch safe in the

dark. And with limited street lighting here in Spain it is essential that drivers, cyclists or passers-by can identify any furry friends.

You will also find in store a wide range of winter coats, blankets and beds to keep your pets warm during the winter months. All their products are well known branded names but with prices that start from just 2.75€. Sometimes it is better to pay that extra 1€ for a quality product that will then last a lot longer, rather than going for the cheaper option only for it to break and not have a very long lifespan. And as your furry companion, I am sure he/she is worth it!!!

As each pet is as individual as us humans are, it is important to ‘dress’ them accordingly. Both Ana and Erika care for your pets as much as you do and are always on hand to advise the most suitable accessories and of course the grooming.

You will find their store located at the roundabout at La Marquesa Golf in Quesada and they are open from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and are available by prior appointment on Saturdays.

Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre is offering the chance to live and work at its bustling Costa Blanca stable yard as part of a new hands-on equine internship program.

During the eight-week Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre internship, selected participants will be invited to help care for more than 90 rescued equines, going deeper than being a tourist, to make a positive difference at the frontline of animal welfare in Spain. Easy Horse Care co-founder Sue Weeding said the non-profit rescue centre – located south of Alicante near the township of Rojales – would accept a maximum of just four interns at once, who will be guided through a comprehensive eight-week work and study program designed to teach crucial equine handling and care skills. For full program details, including the information pack and application form, visit easyhorsecare.net/how-to-help/intern.
