Pilar de la Horadada’s residents have been celebrating their patron saint, the Virgen del Pilar for the last month and their program of events comes to an end on 22nd October at 8pm with their Grand Carnival Parade from Calle Mayor to Calle San Juan followed the following day at 10am with an Exhibition of Lace Making in the Plaza Campoamor.


If you’re a music fan, and in particular Jazz and Blues, you won’t want to miss the 36th Edition of the Cartagena Jazz Festival and a choice of seven major concerts that take place from the 3rd to the 26th November. There are also another four concerts for what they call Jazz Callejero and eight more for the Off Jazz. Tickets, including the great value Festival Pass, are now available, so make sure you get your seat reserved for this annual Jazz experience.

Crime Watch Spain (Vecinos Colaborando) Reg. VG – 08261/2002 advise the community citizens about security matters and help them to report any incidents in their communities to the authorities to try to keep out any intruders. We are Torrevieja Maritime Association and our aim is to “Stimulate and maintain interest in maritime activities in the Torrevieja area among people of all nationalities”.
