QF Focus Magazine Welcome Inn, Benimar II
A little over 9 months ago, Helen and Kevin became the proprietors of Chalmers Bar in Benimar II and more recently changed the name of the bar / restaurant to Welcome Inn.
The name speaks for itself in that everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the food and entertainment that this establishment has to offer, with families also well catered for. In such a relatively short period of time, Helen and Kevin have been astounded by the continuous support shown by their local customers and friends alike and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all. The kitchen is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 3pm serving breakfasts
and lunches favourites and at then
again from 6pm to 10pm serving evening meals, with many traditional homemade
very
affordable prices. The Chef's daily specials are also available.
Sunday Lunches are proving very popular with a choice of 3 meats from just 7.95€ for 1 course, and therefore it is best to book your table in advance to avoid disappointment. Welcome Inn is a favourite venue for all your sporting events with live football matches, rugby, golf, cricket and Formula 1 being shown on large screens throughout the bar. Follow them on Facebook to keep up to date for programmed listings to be shown. A golf society is in place but they are always looking for new members to join, so if you want to be part of a thriving, friendly society you know where to go. Every Tuesday there are Darts League games with 2 teams in place and Wednesday is the Pool League – new players for both darts and pool competitions are always welcome and regularly run their own in-house competitions. Every Monday there is a quiz night from 9pm and on Fridays from 5pm a Fun Quiz is hosted by DJ Kev with a selected choice of food available. Both of these events are very popular so it is necessary to book your table in advance. Christmas Day is already sold out but tickets are now on sale for their New Year’s Eve Party.
