Food For Thought Presents CALABASH: A Celebration of Gourds, Art, and the Garden

Food For Thought, in collabora- tion with Occidental Arts and Ecology Center, proudly presents the 16th an- nual CALABASH: A Celebration of Gourds, Art, and the Garden on Sun- day, October 2, 2016. This unique and beloved harvest-themed fundraiser is one of Sonoma County’s most eagerly anticipated events. It also raises neces- sary funds as Food For Thought makes major repairs to the food bank and expands its mission of providing life- giving nutritional services to Sonoma County residents dealing with HIV and other serious illnesses. This year’s event promises to be out- standing. Many wonderful artists have donated beautiful, handcrafted gourd and book art for this uniquely Sonoma County event. Our world-class organic gardens will be at their peak. Event go- ers will enjoy amazing wine, delicious food (including cheese tastings from Redwood Hill Farm & Creamery), and musicians playing on gourd instru- ments.
