a trend for UK participants to top the table, followed by companies from Spain and Italy. UK SMEs have secured more than €95m (£80m) of this funding since the launch of the programme two years ago. Another 23 UK companies will get €50,000


(£42,000) each for feasibility studies under a different strand of the same programme (Phase 1), bringing the number of successful UK participants in this part of the programme to 214 in total since 2014.
