Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid has pledged in a post-Brexit announcement to boost the strength of the Government’s trade specialists by taking on extra staff. Mr Javid, now Communities Secretary


following the Cabinet reshuffle, met finance and commerce ministers in India where he outlined his vision of what future trade relationships between the UK and India might look like. Similar trips to the US, China, Japan and South Korea are planned. He confirmed that the Government planned


to rapidly build its trade capability to 300 specialist staff to make sure that the UK had the tools it needed to compete globally. “There is a strong bilateral trade relationship between our two countries and I am determined to build on this,” he said.
