Firm builds a stronger team
A senior engineer has turned her back on Paris and London to become one of three new appointments at Birmingham professional services consultancy WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff. Naomi Wilson joins the building
structures team of the firm alongside fellow senior engineer Andrew Rowley, who joins the building services team. Arsalan Amanullah also joins as utilities engineer. These appointments follow a
recent batch of seven new starters, as the firm continues to grow following recent and current involvement in projects including Three Snow Hill, Grand Central Station and Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield.
New appointments in the Press and PR department will enable Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) to offer a broader range of media coverage. Dan Harrison and award-winning journalist Jon Griffin have joined Press and PR director John Lamb in the media centre, which produces Chamberlink magazine and ChamberlinkDaily. It also handles a large range of media activities for newspapers, magazines, television, radio, on-line publications and social media. John Lamb said: “The arrival of
Dan and Jon will strengthen the support we can give to the media community across the region. We will be providing more in-depth coverage of business issues that really matter to our members and the wider business community. “The Chamber is the go-to
organisation for comments on the full spectrum of news in the West Midlands and beyond. We handle daily inquiries from across the media, locally, nationally and globally.
