Chamber Patrons A visit to be treasured By Dan Harrison


A leading figure from HM Treasury welcomed input from Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce members on productivity, growth and investment during a visit to the city. Susan Acland-Hood, director of


enterprise and growth at HM Treasury, was the guest speaker at a Chamber patrons’ lunch hosted by the Royal Bank of Scotland.


‘It was a pleasure to come to Birmingham and have such thoughtful and positive conversations with Chamber members and patrons’


The main topics of discussion were the support and action businesses want to see from Government on productivity and growth, the HS2 rail project and the fallout from the EU referendum, with Ms Acland-Hood gauging the views of key business figures during a lively discussion.
