lthough people may think that it’s newly-qualifi ed pharmacists, who are most in need of advice and support, our experience at Royal Pharmaceutical Society would tell us differently.


Each year our confi dential professional support service, which is run by a team of pharmacists and advisors from different pharmacy sectors, is contacted by thousands of pharmacists – newly qualifi ed, early years AND well established – with queries relating to every aspect of working within pharmacy.


Almost half (47 per cent) of our calls come from community pharmacists and our research has shown most of the queries relate to legal/ethical issues, pharmacy practice and professional development.
