AkihiroYoshimoto ArtfulDancewear Scholarship
Akihiro Yoshimoto is 14 years old and attendsR.L. TurnerHigh School. Since the age of 5, he has trained atBalletAcademy of Texas. In previous years,Aki has attended PittsburghBallet Theatre andHaridConservatory on full scholarship.He placed in the top 12 in the junior division this year at YouthAmericaGrand Prix.He plans to attend a summer intensive to continue to develop his technique and artistry.
MasumiYoshimoto Dr.Dan&RosieKimple Scholarship
Masumi Yoshimoto is a 17 year old graduate of Newman SmithHigh School. She has trained at BalletAcademy of Texas for 13 years, and per- formswith theBalletEnsemble of Texas. She competed in the regional YouthAmericaGrand Prix and placed in the top 12 seniorwomen’s classical and contemporary categories.With her scholarship, she plans to attendHoustonBallet Theatre School’s summer intensive.
