Digital Disruption – Print/Publications/Magazines
Print publication
will need to evolve. As smart phones and tablets have grown in capability & popularity we have seen national newspapers move to a ‘digital-first’ approach, as physical print circulation fell.
Some now exploit the opportunities arising from multi-media interactive capabilities. Engaging digital products such as Flipboard & Apple News provide an attractive reader experience, enabling current, diverse and historic multi-media rich content to be amalgamated, curated and searched.
The internet/digital-cloud ecosystem enables content, once created, to be accessible by a much wider reader base at almost zero cost, and with new advertising revenue capabilities.
Many publishing & membership-based organisations still have a physical not digital-first mind-set for their magazines & newsletters – with at best a static PDF published on-line.
Are you ready to seize the opportunities and mitigate the threats in this digital age?
