Rhythm’s On Trade 213 Trade Street Greer, SC (864) 655-4141

My first visit to Rhythm’s On Trade in

Greer, SC was a few months ago when I went to see Dallas Moore in concert. (See review last issue. -Ed) I was impressed with the place from the get-go. The venue is re- ally nice inside. I love the old exposed brick walls and the decor, and the new stage they built is fabulous. I had already heard that they had excel-

lent musical acts coming through, but what I didn’t know was what great food they have. That night I chose something called the

Studebaker Grilled Chicken Salad ($9.50). Talk about a serious salad! It had every- thing but the kitchen sink in it, and the house dressing is blended into the greens at just the right measure. The next time I visited, I decided to try

their wings. ($6.75, 6 wings; daily special 4- 8 PM $4.75) Now, you can get ‘em a variety of ways, at various levels of heat, various

flavors, and all come with the standard cel- ery and blue cheese dressing. Now, you may say, wings is wings!” But I beg to differ. Not everybody knows how to cook ‘em correctly. The chef at Rhythms does wings right! There’s a full menu that features every-

thing from fried pickles to pepper poppers on the “Opening Acts” section of the menu, to “Main Stage” treats like burgers, a huge BLT, chicken fingers, soups, a good ol’ grilled cheese sandwich and more. The bar is stocked with what-

ever you have a hankering for. Various cold beers are always available, wine, liquor shots, and mixed drinks. They make a nice spicy Bloody Mary, I can attest to that fact Be sure to visit Rhythms and

Best Wings ever! 35

check out the great music. Songwriters Night is every Wednesday, featuring some amazing writers, But no matter which night you come, bring an appetite for fun and great food. •Chateau Ste Michelle
