What a great singer. Yes, he was. And by all ac- counts, I heard he was a gentle- man, I heard he was such a great guy. What a great loss for rock & roll.

That’s the kind of people I like. I love talent and all that, but I really like meet- ing people like you and Richard Young. People that are just like somebody you grew up with or some- thing. Oh, thank you Michael. Well, you know, I’ve said this before, we’re almost like music minis- ters, I call ourselves ‘Musicia- naries’ .”


Oh man, that’s a great word. Yeah, that’s what we are, we’re musicianaries. By the grace of God, we were given a gift of playing music and to share that gift with oth- ers and when you go out and do that live, it’s almost like a little mini church service in a way. You know, we’re not quite as holy as some but… (Laughs) … you know but, maybe soon we will be.


But you still have the opportunity to minister to people because of the situa- tion you are in. Absolutely! Absolutely! And in return, I know the good Lord gets a kick out of what we do. (Buffalo laughs) I’m sure that He’s laughing at us at times you know. So we’re these musi- cianaries, and we’re out there doing what we love doing. I can’t imagine doing anything else than what we do. I love playing music in

front of people. I love playing music at home. I love listening to music on vinyl and CDs and I love listening to the radio - and I love doing my radio show, which I do every Monday night, as you know.


I was going to ask you if you still did that. You know, I was just listening to some of your shows on the CDs that you gave me, man, back in 2003 I think. Oh my, okay. Yeah, yeah!


Yeah, there are several of them. Yeah, I’m still at WBMS in Bowling Green every Monday night and I started there in No- vember of 2001, so we’re edging up on 15 years there.
