Ryland Inn, a Landmark property located in Whitehouse Station, NJ
Many of the property’s event venues also come furnished with modern, plush furnishings.
Available spaces at the Stone House include: The Chef’s Room; Wine Cellar; Outdoor Star Room Townhouse; Overlook Pavilion; Ceremony Area; Gallery; and Ballroom. The property’s five-star restaurants serve farm fresh catering, including many ingredients grown on site in herb gardens.
There will be several event venues available in the near future at Landmark’s soon to open North River House, including rooftop gardens, indoor or outdoor bars, a cabana out back, and a grand banquet hall that will seat up to 500 guests.
The restaurant at Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station was fully renovated and opened in 2012 with plans to continue its expansion and develop- ment in multiple phases. A special event space was added to the property, which opened in March of 2014, while plans for a 40-room hotel are currently in the works.
In accordance with the plan, existing cottages would be converted to lodging, and barns into a conference center. Another banquet hall and gar- dening areas would be added, and the project would include a bakery and a demonstration kitchen for cooking classes, tasting events and corporate team building.
Ryland Inn’s Grand Ballroom is a stunning space with cathedral ceilings, an elegant chandelier, and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. Complete with expansive windows, outdoor fire pits and a side lounge area, it can accommodate groups of up to 225 seated, or up to 300 for a reception.
Alternatively, the Chef’s Room at Ryland is ideal for up to 12 people seated in view of the working kitchen, where a Chef’s Tasting Dinner can be prepared for the group. Still more spaces on site include: The Washington Room; and The New York Room with its private terrace.
The Boathouse at Mercer Lake in New Windsor, NJ features newly renovated lakefront event space in Mercer County Park. Overlooking lush park greenery and a picturesque lake, this event space has two rooms available to accommodate corporate, charity, social events and weddings. Lakeview Hall, its larger event space, can hold up to 250 guests for dinner and dancing, while the Cove Room can host up to 40 guests, and is per- fect for a corporate meeting or luncheon. The property is operated by and Crave Caterers, the off premise division of Landmark Hospitality.
In South Orange, Landmark is planning a new multi-million-dollar restaurant and a beer garden with an estimated completion sometime in 2017. Plans include turning the first floor of the historic South Orange Village Hall into a restaurant. An indoor/outdoor beer garden also is in the works. A banquet hall is planned for the second floor. Village Hall is registered on the National Register of Historic Places, and is located close to the South Orange Train Station.
Another Landmark property planned for Frenchtown is a new distillery that would feature an open floor plan inside along with event space and a garden-like terrace. The event space would boast views of the Delaware River, and a pro- posed riverside path would include a sculpture garden, fountain and other features.
The local restaurant scene boasts every cuisine in more than 160 establishments that range from moderately priced to fine dining. There are more than 45 hotel locations in the Princeton Region, too, with accommodations and amenities that rival any major metropolitan destination.
Located halfway between the Philadelphia and New York City, Princeton is easily accessible by highway, mass transit, and via major airports.

The nation’s forefathers were so pleased with the meeting facilities in those days that they made Princeton the temporary capital of the American colonies, and Congress convened for the first time in Nassau Hall. Today, Princeton remains one of the nation’s finest meeting places.
