The Rastelli Foods Group is family owned and was started 40 years ago as a small butcher shop. Today they provide premium meats and seafood globally, with locations in both Deptford and Marlton,New Jersey.


Catering director Brittany Rastelli dis- cusses the group’s rapidly growing cater- ing department and what they can pro- vide for event planners who are looking to stay current with the hot trends in the food and beverage world.


“Our catering team provides a level of service that we consider to be a step above the rest,” says Rastelli. “We work closely with each guest providing some- thing as small as a sandwich tray to full- service catering for a 300-person event. No matter the size or occasion,we treat everyone as if they were family. Treating people how you want to be treated and

valuing relationships is what has gotten us so far, and we continue to abide by this on a daily basis.”


In terms of what planners currently are looking for at events, Rastelli notes that her company is seeing trends from all ends of the spectrum. “Our corporate lunch clients are always looking for easy, traditional options with a twist, so our signature Sandwich Package is a great choice. It offers the comfort and sim- plicity of sandwiches, but with unique options such as turkey, apple and Brie on a baguette, Caprese on a rosemary focaccia, or our award winning Italian- style ‘Godfather’ (dried hot capacola, hot and sweet sopresata, sharp). The package comes with potato or fruit salad, mixed green or Caesar salad, a sweet treat and drinks, so it is perfect whether for a small or large group.”


Or, Rastelli adds, social planners who are working with the “Pinterest genera- tion” are asking for custom mini hors
