vinaigrette dressing.“On each salad plate,we placed a one-ounce Patron bottle filled with the custom dressing. The presentation was amazing and it had the‘wow’ factor our client was looking for,”Durinzi recalls.
In addition to their three unique event spaces, Robert Ryan Catering also can come to the group’s office or other location and turn it into a perfect event space.“We are the only local caterer that can take our liquor license off site,” Durinzi notes. “Our unmatched attention to service is supported by an incredible team of passionate, highly trained professionals who can flawlessly transform any vision into an unforgettable event, every time!”
At Drexelbrook, Savino says they always are willing to think outside-the-box and find something fun and unique for their guests. “Cocktails are constantly evolving as the desire to provide new and exciting options is driven by TV, social media and the current trend of specialty
bars.Any drinks that can be ‘built’ are popular, such as our Bloody Mary Bar,or Bubble Bar,which uses Champagne or Prosecco as a base and a variety of infusions and garnishes to create a custom cocktail.”
He adds that Drexelbrook also offers a wide selection local beers, spirits and hard ciders that can be pairedwith hors d’oeuvres, dinner and desserts.
Speaking of desserts, Savino says that dessert minis are still very popular among groups, as is Drexelbrook’s donut station. In addition, they recently began making their own small batch ice cream, adding another unique treat to their offerings.
Whatever a planner may be look-
ing for when it comes to the menu for their group event, asking for help and guidance and following the suggestion of great partners will go a long way toward provid-
ing a memorable - and delectable - group dining experience.

Ruffino Sparkling Rosé
Ruffino Sparkling Rosé is made from Glera grapes (the grape of Prosecco) from highly sought-after vineyards located in the Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto regions of Northeastern Italy that are blended with small amounts of Pinot Noir.
With an alcohol content of 11 percent by volume, Ruffino Sparking Rosé is fresh and fragrant with notes of strawberry and slight hints of rose petals. On the palate this wine has elegant bubbles and refreshing acidity, offering alluring flavors of delicate red berries and white fruits that linger through the finish.
It should be served well chilled, between 45°and 48°F, and is ideal as an aperitif, but also quite versatile as a food compan- ion, pairing well with a variety of dishes including grilled fish, roasted chicken, and fresh salads.
14 Hands Hot to Trot Red Blend 14 Hands Hot to Trot Red Blend is made from grapes har- vested in the Columbia Valley of Washington. Described as a “polished” red wine, it has aromas of cherry, red currant and Tea along with flavors that include cherries, ripe berries and plums, supported by a frame of refined tannins that give way to subtle notes of baking spice on a persistent finish, notes winemaker, Keith Kenison.
A blend of predominantly Merlot and Syrah with other select red varieties, 14 Hands Hot to Trot Red Blend is 13.5 percent alcohol by volume and pairs well with barbecue pork, grilled portabella mushrooms, gourmet cheeses, and lasagna Florentine.
Chloe Sonoma County Chardonnay Chloe’s 2014 Chardonnay, 13.5 percent alcohol by volume, is made from grapes grown primarily in vineyards of Sonoma County, CA’s Russian River Valley.Winemaker Georgetta Dane has highlighted the structure and depth of this fruit by using oak as a sec- ondary presence, rather than the focus, to showcase ripe, clean flavors of fresh citrus, apple, pear with notes of creamy butter and a hint of vanilla. The resulting wine is exceptional- ly well-balanced with sophisticated intensity, a creamy mid- palate and long finish.
Additional wines and spirits popular for events in 2016 include: Rum Chata; Effen Vodka Black Cherry; and Jim Beam Apple.
