Over the past few months I’ve quite enjoyed abusing my position with the hints I’ve been dropping to my loved ones because it seems to be working.
I enjoyed a lovely Mother’s Day lunch out with all the extended family and I managed to squeeze an overnight stay in Alicante whilst my little angel was enjoying herself away on a school trip.
And now I’ve got a weekend in Mojacar over Easter to look forward to… oooh what should I hint for next?
I booked our Easter break to coincide with celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary and since we still haven’t had a honeymoon there was very little my other half could say about it. Well apart from “I’m too busy with work.” to which I replied “You cannot work over the Easter holidays anyway so we might as well spend it elsewhere”. That put an end to that conversation. I cannot believe that it has been 2 years already since we tied the knot. So much has happened since and it kind of reiterates just how quickly time goes by.
Following on from last month, I have to report that my gym attendance has rapidly gone down the drain. I think it ended before it really began…. but when the time is right I will be giving it another go.
